A missive asteroid smashes into the moon causing the tides to change, which in turn causes some pretty serious storms. After discovering that the moon has been knocked out of its orbit and now has a massive crack passing through it, which is getting bigger with every passing moment and threatening part of the moon to break away. They sent a couple of astronauts and a demolitions expert called John Redding up to the moon to set off an explosion that will hopefully close in the sides of the moon and let the moon repair itself. But there are two ways that could possibly fix the moon. Which will work? I actually really liked this movie. But then I really love any disaster movie.
